Job Description

We are looking for a Provider Benefit Verification & Authorization Manager to join our growing team. This role is focused on overseeing benefit verification, prior authorization processes, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional provider support and customer service. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and responsiveness, while developing a high-performing team.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise daily activities of provider benefit verification and authorization teams (domestic and offshore).
• Ensure accurate and timely verification and authorization on behalf of medical providers, meeting established turnaround times.
• Serve as an escalation point for providers with complex benefit interpretation, referral, or authorization questions.
• Research and resolve provider inquiries and deliver timely, accurate responses.
• Train, coach, and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and corrective action as needed.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, audit policies, and payer coverage documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify process improvements and drive quality outcomes.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of healthcare reimbursement, benefit verification, or provider services experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding (CPT, HCPC, ICD-10) preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A balance of detail orientation, initiative, and customer service mindset.
