EP Headcovers started in 2013 in a 10x10 room in a basement with one person, a small sewing machine, and a small nudge from someone highly respected in the golf industry. Fast forward a few years, and EP was acquired by SWAG Golf, a disrupter in the world of golf known for its bold, innovative designs and highly coveted, limited-release products. From headcovers and ball markers, to putters and accessories, our drops sell out in record time and are passionately collected by an engaged, global community. Since launching with a single headcover in 2016, SWAG has become a cultural phenomenon at the intersection of golf, art, and lifestyle.

Position Overview

EP Headcovers/SWAG Golf is seeking a Designer to join our team! This role is primarily on-site at the EP facility in Buford, GA, with the potential for hybrid working opportunities. In this role, you’ll use your talents to create artwork for headcovers, golf bags, apparel and other golf accessories. You will be tasked with creating designs and illustrations using our internal Intellectual Properties (IP’s) as well as licensor IPs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable straddling the line between illustration and graphic design, have a passion for golf, and a desire to create unique, eye-catching designs that will resonate with our target audience and elevate our brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Create original designs and illustrations for golf accessories and apparel items.
• Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality vector files for production.
• Stay updated with current design trends and incorporate them into graphics for golf accessories and apparel.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from the team and stakeholders.
• Work with 3rd Party Licensors art & assets (NFL, MLB, NBC Universal, Paramount, etc.)

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work and creativity.
• BFA or similar degree preferred, but not required.
• Organized, detail oriented, self-starter eager to learn.
• 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong command of typography & the principles graphic design.
• Experience working in a collaborative agency setting preferred.
• Proficiency in comic, illustrative and freestyle hand drawing preferred.
• Ability to execute artwork in different styles on a variety products.
• Familiarity with Mac platforms, Wacom products, and/or other digital illustration tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Cloud programs.

Great if you have:

• A knowledge and passion for golf, or previous golf industry experience.
• Apparel or accessory design experience.
• Technical specs of accessories experience.
• Knowledge of materials and printing processes as they relate to embroidery and accessories design.
