Akkodis is seeking Tariff Recovery Project Administrator (Document Support Specialist)Contract with a direct client in Auburn Hills, MI

Pay Range: $22.00-25.00 per hour The rate may be negotiable within this range based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic individual to lead our Tariff Recovery Initiative, aimed at identifying, documenting, and recovering tariff underpayments from materials delivered to customers. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Customs Compliance to ensure accurate classification, documentation, and recovery of eligible duties.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end execution of the Tariff Recovery Initiative, including planning, analysis, and implementation.
• Analyze import/export data to identify tariff payments and recovery opportunities.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, trade consultants, and internal stakeholders to validate claims.
• Prepare and submit documentation for duty drawbacks, reclassification, or refund claims.
• Track project milestones, financial impact, and ensure compliance with trade regulations.
• Present findings and recovery progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
