A leading defense and technology organization is seeking a skilled Network Engineering Specialist to design, implement, and support secure, high-performance network infrastructures serving critical defense and government programs.

Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain IP-based network infrastructures for secure communications.
Provide Tier-3 technical support and resolve complex routing and performance issues.
Develop and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration standards.
Identify opportunities to improve scalability, automation, and operational efficiency.
Support integration, testing, and maintenance of network systems across multiple domains.
Participate in on-call rotations and planned maintenance activities as required.
Proven experience in network engineering, network planning, or infrastructure design .
Strong working knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs).
Familiarity with network design tools such as Visio or similar.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
U.S. Citizenship required and must be able to obtain or hold a DoD Security Clearance .
