This job is located in Macon, GA. Company will help with relocation costs for the right candidate.

One of middle Georgia's largest printing companies is looking for a Prepress Manager.

Manager will be responsible for the daily supervision of the Prepress Department to achieve team and company objectives. Identifies and recommends process improvements to streamline and increase efficiency of existing programs.

Essential Job Functions :

• Train Prepress personnel on all current workflows, while continually working on improvements.
• Work with Management team to plan and produce plates and prints on schedule.
• Manage and program the various workflow software/hardware used in Prepress.
• Order and keep inventory of supplies for the department.
• Maintain and repair all equipment. Work with outside service technicians to complete repairs, as necessary.
• Provide performance management to department employees (performance and reviews, discipline, training, recommendations, etc.).

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Associates Degree preferred
• 3-5 years Prepress experience required
• Manager/Supervisor experience preferred

Other Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive PC and Apple computer knowledge and data entry skills
• Positive leadership abilities
• Problem solving skills

Manager will communicate, motivate, supervise, train, counsel, and discipline direct reports while working closely with key management.
