Akkodis is seeking a Remote Technical Project Manager for a contract job with a client in Bloomington, IN. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in project planning, stakeholder management, and driving initiatives to successful completion.
Pay Range: $55.00/hour to $65.00/hour. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Contract length: 3 months
Project Manager responsibilities include:
• Establish project plans with clear milestones and deadlines
• Act as the single point of contact and coordinate deliverables across teams and vendors
• Communicate effectively with staff and external partners throughout the project lifecycle
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster a high-performance team environment
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule with appropriate approvals
• Train users on new systems and processes
• Coordinate routing, tracking, and archiving of project documentation
• Collect, document, and manage project risks, issues, and resources
• Provide coaching and guidance on best project practices
• Oversee and review project status reports, ensuring timely updates and changes
• Develop and issue resource summaries
• Attend and contribute to project status meetings
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of project management experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools, skills, and methodologies
• Experience with ERP, CPQ (Configure/Price/Quote), or CRM implementations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced environments
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
• Conducting training on root cause investigation and problem-solving techniques
