Position Overview

Duotech is seeking a skilled RF Technician to support the development, test, and repair of advanced radar and electronic warfare systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in RF theory, hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment, and a drive to solve challenging technical problems that support critical defense missions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair RF and microwave components, subsystems, and assemblies.
  • Conduct bench-level testing using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, RF sources, and oscilloscopes.
  • Perform diagnostics on complex RF hardware and assist in identifying root causes of performance issues.
  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation to perform assembly and rework.
  • Document test results, prepare reports, and maintain configuration control of tested units.
  • Maintain calibration and readiness of test equipment and support continuous improvement in lab processes.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics, RF Technology, or related field (or equivalent military/industry experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in RF test, troubleshooting, or repair environments.
  • Proficiency with RF test instruments (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters).
  • Understanding of microwave circuits, filters, amplifiers, and signal chain fundamentals.
  • Soldering and rework skills for SMT, stripline, and through-hole components.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and hands-on technical aptitude.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with radar, EW, or communication systems.
  • Familiarity with automated test systems.
  • Prior defense or aerospace electronics background.
